Derrek Chow is a researcher and creative technologist from Toronto. His work explores Human-Computer Interaction and the intersections of art, design, and technology to create new, more empowering and humane ways to interact with computers.

He is currently pursuing a degree in software engineering at the University of Waterloo. Previously, he was a designer at RNDR and a researcher at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab and the NTU HCI Lab.
